Inspections Direct is a professional home and building inspection firm dedicated to helping home buyers and small commercial real estate purchasers become more informed about their purchase. It is an independent, non-franchised inspection service.

The company was founded in 1997 as a family owned business assisting lenders with their collateral inspection needs.  In 2003 the company was reorganized and the product offering was expanded to provide services directly to buyers.  The company is still locally owned.  It is managed by the same family.

Our inspector is professionally trained in all areas of home and building inspection and is up-to-date on all of the latest aspects of building inspections.  His experience also includes detailed hands on knowledge of the home construction process from footing to shingles.  He also has several years hands-on experience inspecting homes and businesses, primarily for lenders.

Utah does not have an  inspector certification or licencing requirement.  However, our inspector is trained and inspects using nationally accepted home inspection standards, dispite the absense of such requirements by the state.  The inspector is "certified" as having passed certification tests of national home inspector associations or training programs, but we do not advocate that the inspector is "certified".  Only the state can offer true certification.  So be aware of home inspectors that make such "certification" claims.
